Last year, I shared some of the best sellers of 2015 from my shop… they were all Love Catchers, so I sorted out the top three colour combos. This past year, I introduced lots of new designs AND colour combos, along with plenty of custom requests. Are you ready for it? Here are the most popular Bubblegum Sass designs of 2016:
1st Place – Small Mermaid Dreamcatchers
{Not too surprised by that one. Felt like I could barely keep up with your orders for them. Less than three months after introducing them to the shop, I also started making a large 8″ version of the design because of customer requests. Ask nicely, and you shall receive.}
2nd Place – Unicorn Dreamcatchers
3rd Place – Small Pink Love Catchers
Truthfully, the most popular item sold (by the numbers) were the small Love Catchers (pink, pink/purple, navy/grey, peach/cream, and coral were the top colour combos). Next, were the small Dreamcatchers (mermaids, unicorns, Dinos, and Terrariums were the big sellers, but the mermaids won by a landslide).
2016 was definitely the year of the “themed” Dreamcatcher in my shop and also saw the rise in popularity of all the larger designs. I was pleasantly surprised by how well the large Love Catchers & Dreamcatches have been selling. I’m still very much enjoying all the custom orders that come through each month. They keep me challenged and inspired.
Although I love each and every design, there are some that just take my breath away a little when they are complete. So far, truly, my ultimate favourite has been this XL Mermaid & Unicorn Dreamcatcher. I was actually relieved when it didn’t sell at my last market and took that as a sign to keep it for myself.
