Farm Days: We’re Hiring!

Wanted: Garden Gnome to work on a small Alberta farm

It’s true! On our farm biz side of life, we are HIRING! We are currently looking for a student*, or garden gnome, interested in working on our farm. We deliver product to Calgary and the surrounding area, as well as are opening a trust-based on-farm store in 2018.

Primary job duties will revolve around the market garden and orchard. A great deal of the job is weed identification and manual removal; but plenty of opportunities for general labour, washing and bagging vegetables, and chasing cows or chickens will present themselves.

Pop by the website for more info!

And if you’re just interested in visiting our farm or coming out for the day to lend a hand, definitely contact us! We’d love to hear from you!

*This is a grant supported job for students. Highschool or postsecondary. Trades and vocational schools work fine too, as does upgrading

Sixth Blogoversary!

Bubblegum Sass Blogoversary ~ Craft & lifestyle blog celebrating 6 years

SIX YEARS!! Six years of sharing my story, my life and my inspiration on this here blog. When I started out writing all those years ago, I had lots of grand plans. Little by little, those changed, along with my expectations. I tried some things, liked some things, let other things go. I quickly learned how much work a blog can be. But, over time, and a few hundred posts, I found my voice. My true interests. My authenticity.

Thank you for reading along, being gentle, and coming back.

To date, I have written 592 posts, received 363 comments, and shared more heartbreak than I ever imagined I would.

And I’ll keep at it. Because, like my crafting, blogging has become a part of who I am. I don’t post every day, certainly. But I’m not giving up on this space to share my thoughts & experiences.

Everyone’s journey through this life is different. And the same. And it makes for a beautiful mess sometimes. I hope I touch one of you, perhaps inspire another, and let some of you know that you’re not alone in any of this.

Cheers, to six years and so many more posts to come!

Love,
Sarah

Some were things I’d marked in red as “must do” and others were just chores that would be great to get done {especially since we’d been sick the week prior}, but if I had to shift them to another day, then I would.

By the end of the day, I had completed a grand total of three tasks. THREE.
