Button-spiration: Lace Button Earrings

Aren’t these lace button earrings wonderful?! I love that they make a nice shabby chic style accessory. And of course, super simple to make too! Find the original tutorial on the Evie S. blog. All you need to make these are: two plain buttons, lace, earrings studs, and a hot glue gun. Cut a circle of lace larger than your button. Then simply wrap the lace around the button, gluing the edges on the backside. Let glue cool. Then glue the earring studs on the backside of the button. And you’re done!

Button-spiration

I finally had a chance to make some button jewelry up a while back and I can’t wait to make more. These earrings were inspired a pair I purchased in Colorado. The first pair (the red ones) turned out a bit better than the second pair. I like the chain accent instead of the wire-wrapped buttons. Each pair was really easy to make. I spent the most time just figuring out the design for each. There are endless possibilities.

I don’t really have a whole lot of instructions for you. Just grab some buttons, beads, & basic findings and you’re all set. As far as tools, I just used needle nose pliers and small wire cutters (for the chain).
